There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. Ecclesiastes 5:13 (KJV)
Hoards of riches hurt the rich as they delight in them. (Seow, 206) The rightful locus of our attention should be our Creator; the allure of ‘profit’ under the sun contributes to this illusion that we can be happy and content without God.
